Community Center

The idea for the UFHC Community Center was to provide an area where patients and members of the community could learn and practice wellness. The dream has come full circle and now classes like smoking cessation and healthy cooking have become a reality. The community center, located on the building's west side, can comfortably seat 20-30 people. It also has tables and counters that allow meetings and classes to be easily facilitated. The room's projector screen and television cabinets provide excellent visual aides when the need arises. The room is decorated with reprints of pictures taken of early 20th-century Union. They circle the room, and give it a feel of comfort and authenticity.
